We received a case from one of our customer that he needs a DSS that would help him handle his business. That application should help him in making decisions. It should prompt him to select the appropriate quotation based on the price and quality of goods.

We involved our self in creating a website that would fulfill our entire client requirement in order to support his business regarding the decision making. We introduced a new technology in the website to support decision. This web application has the option for accepting quotation from various vendors. And it provides the necessary combination of option for selecting the quotes. The quotation would be received on various aspects. It shows possibility in combination to get required result at low cost.

It helps the management in taking decisions about selecting the correct vendor for supplying the product. This application provides the options for comparing the vendor’s quotation. It has the options that will accept quotations from various vendors will compare that with all other quotations.

For example of how it works, let’s take a case of hospital furnishing. Let’s consider the hospital has 20 rooms and 4 Operation Theaters. Consider the rooms will need some equipment like bed, table, fan, telephone, perhaps a TV. Then we need to get the quotes for that from various vendors like one would be selling only bed, one would be table and so on.

This case various vendors will provides quotation on various aspect and we need to consider all and need to select the service of vendor who offer products at lower cost. It provides all solutions and helps to support decision making.

One of our client brought in an issue stating that he needs a web application that need to communicate with his old legacy system and should perform its operation in the web as well.

With our team, we made the research on the case in the customer end and we confessed the following details

• Real need for web application to promote business
• The application needs to have the communication with existing ERP
• Creating a payment gateway for carrying the business in online.

With this information we carried on the work of creating a website for the customer. We developed a new web application that could make use of the already created database in the customer end. The web application will have a communication with existing ERP at the customer. This provides the option for the customer to retain his data with out any modification and he can make use of the already available ERP.

We received a case from the customer that he needs an update in his existing website. The customer states he has been facing the following problems

• He is experiencing issues in adding the goods.
• Problems in the layout of the website.
• No proper differentiation of rights among users.

We analyzed with our team of experts and we concluded that the user’s web application is having following issues.

• There is no sufficient attributes to add a new product with additional features.
• The website administration panel is not flexible to add additional attributes.
• The users are not categorized as admin and users.
• Problems in the scripting of the website that affects the layout of the website.

Then we analyzed the source code of the client’s website. We promoted to provide a new updated version for the clients website with the EBS payment system, which provides more security and surety for the transactions. Also, taking care of his issues escalated.

This updated version of his website will have communication with his ERP and will provide him the details for orders in the ERP.

We developed an automated testing system in accordance with checking the website for its functionality and design specification. We used the case-tool to check the database integrity and performance for the website whether is functioning as intended.

• XSLT

After completion of updated version of website. It is mandatory for us check the performance of the website. We felt that we need to perform the testing and especially the load and stress testing. As we feel that application mainly need this testing whether it can handle thousands of users at an instance in various processes like purchasing, searching and other related operations.
